	Angel loves working at My Place as the owners are great to work for and the customers friendly. She says that if people come to My Place, they will see it’s actually Our Place and many customers have become her friends. She’s been here for a year but she worked here before from 1998 to 2000. She’s an expert cocktail maker and loves talking to customers. When she’s not working, she likes to get out of the city, going to spas and drinking tea. She’s been known to dance on the bar, but only on special occasions and only if someone else goes up first.
	Rachel has worked at My Place when she first came from the Philippines 9 years ago except for one short break. She spends her spare time surfing the net shopping for clothes.Her specialty in My Place is mixing cocktails .
	Monica is from Taichung and came to Taipei to study. She likes it here, but is sometimes lonely here as all her best friends are still in Taichung. She works part-time as she’s a student at the Chinese Culture University where she’s studying French, which she says is really hard and she sometimes confuses it with English. At My Place she studies pub culture and so when she goes to Europe, her dream, she’ll be more prepared for the culture shock.
	Maggie has been at My Place since the beginning of 2003. She prefers it to her previous job, which was working at McDonalds. She says that working in a pub has really improved her English as when she started, she could barely say a word. She describes herself as a good girl and her one vice is playing mahjong, but be careful before offering her a game as she says she always wins. She studied to be a draughtsman but now specializes in draught beer.
	Aileen is a mature student and works at My Place part-time. She’s studying English at university and gets to practice it at work. She says she’s always late for class but she’s a good student as she’s always the one who puts her hand up to answer questions. She tried her hand at teaching for a while, but found it far too stressful and so has come back to working at My Place, where she worked for a while in 1999. Her hobbies are relaxing and nightclubbing, and that explains why she’s always late for class.
	Irene has been the full-time cashier at My Place since June 2001 and enjoys the work as she likes learning about other people, places and cultures. She used to work for a trading company, but that moved to China. She says she doesn’t have much free time, but when she does, she likes buying things to decorate her house.
	Wing is an up-and-coming bartender at My Place and very friendly. Her kid looks can be deceiving as she very experienced in Taipei's bar scene. She's working hard to become an expert at making drinks but spends much of her time dreaming about how to spend all that money if she wins the lottery.
	Crystal is a lively university student- she keeps customers entertained for hours with her amazing magic tricks. She speaks some Japanese as well as English and will teach you Chinese. She also has a habit of falling on her face when she sees a handsome guy that looks like Beckam.
	Fred is the bar controller. He’s quite quiet and prefers to be behind the scenes making sure that customers can relax and enjoy themselves. He’s worked at My Place since the middle of 2000 and in his free time he likes buying CDs for himself and the pub.
